The Pavilion at Weatherly began with a wedding.
Meet the Edelens
In 2012, a DIY bride saw the potential in the Edelen family property along the Potomac River and asked to celebrate her wedding there. That first event planted the idea for what Weatherly could become.
Over the years, Jim and Denise Edelen, along with their children, transformed the property into the waterfront wedding venue it is today, adding spaces, improving the grounds, and putting countless hours of work into creating a place where families could gather and celebrate.

Built with a lot of
love
Jim devoted years of work to Weatherly, continually improving the property, Pavilion, waterfront, landscaping, and spaces couples enjoy today. Now retired from the day-to-day work, his impact can be seen throughout the venue.
Denise continues welcoming couples and families to Weatherly and helping them experience the property they have spent more than a decade building together.
Today, the enclosed and conditioned timber-frame Pavilion accommodates celebrations of up to 250 guests, surrounded by 25 private acres and more than 600 feet of Potomac River shoreline.

From Our Family to Yours
We are grateful for every couple and family who chooses to celebrate at Weatherly, and we would love to welcome you here.
love, Jim & Denise
